Foster Carer Ambassadors

The role of a Lambeth Foster Carer Ambassador includes:

• Working within your local community to recruit carers to join the Service;
• Attending meetings with the Head of Service to review, update and develop policy and guidance;
• Facilitate training events and conferences to disseminate learning to foster carers and social workers;
• Consult on developing new services for foster carers and children;
• Represent Lambeth Fostering in local forums;
• To find out who your local Ambassador is contact your fostering social worker.
